Dr. Kahn was born in Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his residency in head and neck surgery and facial plastics at the University of Southern California. He completed a fellowship in facial cosmetic surgery at Wayne State University with Dr. Jan Beekhuis. Dr. Kahn is a board-certified physician and surgeon and has been in practice in San Francisco since 1978. He has served on the teaching staff of the University of California, San Francisco and is on staff at St. Mary's hospital in San Francisco. Dr. Kahn is an accomplished jazz pianist and has performed in various venues in the city of San Francisco. He and his wife, an oil painter, have lived in the Bay Area for over 25 years. For the past 20 years, Dr. Kahn has devoted his practice exclusively to cosmetic surgery.
