Botox (Botulinum Toxin A) Do you have lines between your eyebrows that make you look angry all the time? Botox injections are a way to drastically reduce the appearance of frown lines, laugh lines and crow's feet. These wrinkles are caused by the contraction of the underlying facial muscles every time you show a facial expression. Botox blocks the nerve impulses to the facial muscles that cause expression lines. After about a week, the Botox injection will cause the muscle to relax and the lines will soften and give you a younger and more agreeable appearance.
