The cosmetic problems many people complain about include sagging neck and "jowling". In the past a traditional face lift was the only solution to that problem. Today, because of changes in technology and awareness of exactly what causes the problems, a new technique called the "Weekend Face Lift" has evolved. This technique is more effective and requires no skin removal , no visible incisions and no down time. Dr. Kahn inserts a thin instrument which allows him to perform an advanced suctioning technique and customized cannulas to scratch the underside of the skin, causing it to contract and tighten. The results are natural looking and long lasting and can be further enhanced with the use of lasers and chin implants when indicated. This procedure is performed on an outpatient basis in our state-of-the-art surgical facility, eliminating the costs and need of hospitalization. Recovery time following this procedure is minimal and patients usually return to work in 2 days.
